As an administrator at the University, you already know that you may need to do research before signing a contract — research to determine whether you are making the best business deal on behalf of the University.

For example, by the time you are ready to enter a contract on behalf of your department, you have probably researched whether your contracting partner has a good reputation and whether its services are suitable or its products function as designed.  You have also probably done some research concerning pricing.


You already know how to make these business decisions and this short module is NOT about making business decisions.
